Cockle Cottage is a fabulous two bedroom cottage overlooking Brixham Harbour. This charming row of Seafarer's cottages was originally built so that the captains of the sailing trawlers could keep an eye on their boats below. The cottage is within a short walk of the town center, harbour, marina, breakwater, Shoalstone Beach and Shoalstone Sea Water Pool.Fantastic views of the harbour and bay are afforded from the main bedroom which has twin beds. The second bedroom has a double bed, and an additional foldway bed is available for juniors if required. 

There is a bench on the sun terrace in front of the cottage which provides a great place to watch the boats and have a drink as the sun goes down.  There is an elevated rear garden with lawn and sitting out area for BBQs, with views for you to enjoy. The cottage is fully equipped, including gas central heating, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave.  There is a TV (with Freeview), DVD and Video player.  Free unrestricted parking is available in the road outside the cottage and also in the road to the rear of the cottage.

Ground floor: Lounge with sea views, TV & DVD Sofa and chairs, Dining table and five chairs, Kitchen with electric cooker Dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment and Microwave

First Floor Twin bedded room with sea views and additional fold-out bed if required, bedroom with double bed over looking rear garden. Bathroom, with bath, shower over, WC and wach basin

Outside: to the front of the property theier is a bench where you can sit out and enjoy the sea views. Steeps from the back door lead up to the raer garden with seating and lawn.

Being in an elevated position there are steep steps leading to the back garden so this property can't be recommended for those with mobility difficulties.

Weekly changeovers are on a Saturday, we do not charge booking fees or extra for pets and prices are fully inclusive of gas and electricity. For bookings of 2 weeks we will be pleased to offer you a discount of £30 to the combined weekly prices. For information on short breaks see here.
